Bharat teaser: Salman Khan’s narration will get you super excited for the film – watch video

India is celebrating the 2nd Independence Day. The day is a good opportunity for Bollywood to unveil the posters, teasers, trailers and make new announcement. So, making a good use of the day, Salman Khan has released the first promo of the movie. You read it right. Though this promo is merely a logo reveal. As we do not get to see any actors from the film. But we do get a very tiny hint at the plot. After the first few seconds pass, in his calm, dreamy voice, Salman says, “Kuch Rishte Zameen se hote hai, Aur kuch Khoon se.. Mere Paas Dono The” Now, we do not know at the moment about the context of the sentence yet, but we sure are excited.

Earlier the makers had released two stills from the movie, which gave us the hint that the plot will be set in The Great Russian Circus. Earlier in an interaction, Ali had revealed how they have created a circus-like set and what character does Salman really play in the film. He had said, “The idea is to create an Indian-Russian circus-like Raj Kapoor’s Mera Naam Joker. Performers from all over the world are flying down for the circus tricks that will be a mix of trapeze hoops and rope stunts. This is Salman and Disha’s introduction in the movie. He plays a daredevil stunt motorcyclist while she’s a trapeze artist.”

During the initial stage of production, speculations were rife that the jodi of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will be repeated in Bharat. However, the role, for a brief period, went to Hollywood return, Priyanka Chopra. But the actress dropped out of the film a few days prior to the shooting. The reason being her decision to take the plunge and get married to American beau Nick Jonas. Well, it was confirmed soon enough that Katrina will be playing the role she was destined to play and came on board for Bharat.

Alia Bhatt’s Raazi, John Abraham’s Parmanu: 5 movies released in 2018 that you can watch this Independence Day

India will be celebrating 71 years of independence today. We are grateful to the freedom fighters for giving us everything we have today. And that includes the freedom of watching whichever movie we want to watch. All the TV shows are airing special movies today. But seriously, there is a limit to as many times we can watch Kranti or Border. No offence to anybody who can watch these movies infinite times. But, thankfully, 2018 has given us quite a fresh batch of movies that all resonate with us today as we feel our patriotic most.

First of all two very cool movies Akshay Kumar’s Gold and John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate have released today, so they can be the very obvious choices. But other than these two, we are going to list down 5 movies that you should be watching today! Entertainment has never been more wholesome before!

Raazi

Alia Bhatt’s drama based on the novel Calling Sehmat, in turn, based on the life of Indian spy Sehmat, is one of the best movies that released this year. The movie features the actress playing the role of Sehmat, who is married into a Pakistani family to spy on them and avert any danger to India. Meghna Gulzar’s direction has made this movie into something that will never age.

Soorma

The story of the hockey player Sandeep Singh is the sports high you need for today. The movie features Diljit Dosanjh essaying the role of the hockey player, endearingly called Flicker Singh, the best goal scorer in the qualifying tournament for the 2012 London Olympics.

Parmanu

This John Abraham starrer tells a story that many of us do not know. You know why APJ Abdul Kalam is so popular? Other than the fact that he was India’s most beloved president. Well, watch this movie and you will learn of the super secret mission that was carried out to make India the nuclear-equipped country it is today. Watch the World Television Premiere of Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran, on 15th August at 12 noon only on Zee cinema.

Mulk

Tapsee Pannu starrer courtroom drama is the need of the hour. The movie features her as the Hindu daughter-in-law of a Muslim man, played by Rishi Kapoor. She has to double up as his defence lawyer when he is wrongly accused in the court. The accusations are based only on prejudice.

Aiyaary

The movie features Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee. At the surface, this movie is an espionage thriller, but at the core, it also teaches a very important lesson about patriotism. And that too, very subtly, as is the case with every Neeraj Panday directorial.

Honourable Mentions: You can also pick between Akshay Kumar’s PadMan. We know it is not a patriotic movie, per se, but it will help your brain get freedom from one very unnecessary taboo. If not that, Ajay Devgn’s Raid could also be your choice, as it is the fictional retelling of the biggest income tax raid in India and inspires you to pay your taxes.

Alia Bhatt on wedding rumours: As long as you aren’t entering my bathroom, I am fine

Alia Bhatt’s dating life has grabbed as much attention as her acting skills. The actress is currently dating Ranbir Kapoor, whom she, in her own admittance, has had a crush on before she started acting. What a love story. The two are even shooting together for a film, Brahmastra. That is only adding fuel to the fire. Well, the rumours are rife that the lovebirds are set to get married soon. Responding to the rumours, Alia has given us more to talk about.

While interacting with the media at an event, Alia said, “I don’t react to rumours. Rumours are not meant to be reacted upon. As long as you aren’t entering my bathroom, I am fine because if you are not talking about me then maybe I am not relevant enough. But honestly, I am in a very good place both personally and professionally so no issues whatsoever,”

Earlier, in an Instagram Q&A, Alia had said that she is a ‘ghar ka khana kinda girl. Dal chawal types’. Interestingly, in an earlier interview with Firstpost, Ranbir’s mom Neetu Kapoor had said that he is a dal chawal type guy and won’t like a girl who is high maintenance.

Alia and Ranbir are currently in Bulgaria shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s directorial, Brahmastra. The movie has been backed by Dharma Productions and also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy. The movie is the first part of an intended trilogy of a fantasy drama. We are so looking forward to the release of this one.

Loveratri song Chogada: Aayush Sharma-Warina Hussain’s romance adds more colour to this garba number by Darshan Raval – watch video

A few parts of India celebrate Navratri with the majestic zeal. The people dance like there is no tomorrow at the Navratri events. And the favourite song of the season? Other than all Falguni Pathak numbers, because nothing beats that. well, the answer is Ranglo. The folk song has had many versions over the years. And we have a new one, courtesy of the upcoming film, Loveratri. A new romantic-dance track, titled Chogada, featuring the lead star cast, Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain, has been released and it will get you grooving.

Chogada is a vibrant track that has the essence of a Gujarati dance track popular during the season. The song has been crooned by Darshan Raval and Asees Kaur. Darshan Raval has penned the lyrics, whose previous Navratri single Aave Navratri was also quite a hit. Lijo George and Dj Chetas have composed the melody. There is something very pleasing about Chogada. coming to the music video, it has been choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant. Once again, she impresses. The dance steps are energetic as you’d expect from a song like this. Aayush has certainly got style and energy. Warina doesn’t get to dance much in this song and the shots where she is shaking a leg are wide. So, we can’t say much. But she does look beautiful.

Talking about the new song, debutant director Abhiraj Minawala said, “We required a song that had a strong connect to Gujarati culture. And since we’ve mostly seen everything related to the state in a caricaturish way in films, we wanted to highlight its strong points. Our music supervisor got in touch with Chetas and Lijo and they came up with a song in just half an hour,”

Loveratri is written by Naren Bhatt and directed by Abhiraj. The movie is produced by Salman Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films is slated to release on October 5, 2018.
