George Clinton once said, “Style is whatever you want to do, if you can do it with confidence.” And Bollywood fashionistas like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Priyanka Chopra abide by that saying all the time. The ladies managed to impress the fashion pundits last week with their impeccable style statements. Just goes to say that stunners like Bebo and PC prefer making trends rather than following them. Joining the pretty actresses in the best dressed category this week are celebs like Jacqueline Fernandez, Madhuri Dixit Nene . Let’s delve in deeper to see how they nailed their attires.
Madhuri Dixit Nene
Madhuri has been promoting her debut Marathi film, Bucket List and while she is at it, the actress has mostly been slipping into some pretty anarkalis. Our favourite was the Anita Dongre anarkali that she paired with jewelry from Lara Morakhia. It was so pleasant to the eyes, the entire look. Hoping to see more such style statements from her.
Priyanka was invited by her good friend Meghan Markle to her Royal Wedding with Prince Harry. We had high expectations from her and she lived up to them, not once, but twice as she attended the reception too. And it was her outfit that she picked for the latter that impressed us more. She wore a shimmery Dior gown for the reception, that she paired with a Lady Dior bag and Lorraine Schwartz earrings. What do we say? We were just staring at her pictures that day.
Sonam too has been promoting Veere Di Wedding and she has been experimenting a lot when it comes to her outfits and makeup. Sadly, none of them managed to get us talking, especially this House Of Kotwara suit. Her accessories included Amrapali jewelry and Fizzy Goblet jootis. Wavy hair and striking red lips finished out the look. Simple and nice. The pastel look was so summer friendly.
And since we are talking about pastels, we were a fan of what Jacqueline wore while promoting Race 3. The petal pink lehenga from the Bridal Couture Collection of JADE by Monica and Karishma was the perfect ensemble during the summers, especially in Mumbai. Light makeup, wavy tied up hair and those lovely earrings from Anmol finished her look.
Karisma inaugurated a store in Jaipur wearing a linen sari from The Linen Club. The sari and the sleeveless blouse was perfect considering how hot it is there. She looked lovely, no complains there.

Thugs Of Hindostan
Release date – November 7, 2018
Story – Thugs of Hindostan stars Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh. The movie, which is being directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya is said to be based on the 1839 novel, Confessions Of A Thug written by Philip Meadows Taylor. The novel tells the story of a dangerous thug, Ameer Ali. It was a bestseller in 19th century in Britain.
Philip was an administrator working for the Nizam of Hyderabad in the 19th century. During this time, a strong cult of thugs took control in some parts of India. These thugs would befriend rich travellers and ultimately kill and rob them before burying them. British administration and the Indian royalty obviously had major problems with this cult. According to various estimates, these people had killed around 20 lakh people.
The British empire in India suppressed the thugs in the 1830s. The thugs were captured after Ameer Ali was arrested. His confessions led the British intelligence to make thousands of arrests and by 1870, the cult had become extinct in India.
Talking about Ameer, he is a Pathan whose parents are looted and killed by a gang of thugs. The thugs then raise him as one of their own. Aamir is said to be playing his role in the film. He is a very dark character, as Aamir recently said, “he would sell out his mother for anything”.
Ismail, a prominent high-ranking thug, is the man who adopts Ameer Ali after the boy’s parents are killed. Amitabh Bachchan will probably play the adoptive father, Ismail.
Release date – December 21, 2018
Story – Zero is gearing up for a release this Christmas. For the first time we will see Shah Rukh Khan as a dwarf. The film re-unites him with his Jab Tak Hai Jaan co-stars, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. We had EXCLUSIVELY revealed the plot of the film as a source told us, “With Zero having several elements of science fiction, the makers wanted to give it a befitting end. So you will see the climax of the film take place on Mars. While you might think this is very strange, there is actually a quite logical reason to why the climax will take place on Mars and you will come to know about it while watching the movie.”
It has been reported that Anushka will play a differently-abled person in the movie, while Katrina would be portraying the role of an actress. Tigmanshu Dhulia will be playing SRK’s father in the film, which is being directed by Aanand L Rai.
Rani Mukerji, Kajol, and SRK will be sharing screen space together after 19 long years in Zero. Juhi Chawla, late Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit also have cameos in the film. Take a look at the teaser that SRK unveiled on the first day of 2018, just to expect what we will see in the film:

Showcasing the historic victory of the field hockey team at the 1948 Summer Olympics, the film stars Akshay Kumar in the lead and is being directed by Reema Kagti. Mouni Roy and Amit Sadh have pivotal roles in the movie. It was earlier reported that Akshay will be essaying the role of hockey legend Balbir Singh, who scored two goals in the final match against Britain. Story – Janhvi Kapoor is making her big Bollywood debut with Dhadak, which also stars Ishaan Khatter as the male lead. The film, which is being directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Zee Studios, is a remake of Marathi blockbuster, Sairat. So the basic premise of Dhadak will be as same as Sairat, except the former is set in Rajasthan. As Shashank had revealed to PTI, “The basic premise is of differences in caste, honour killing and what it means to survive in that world, and I feel that is the conflict that is alive all across India, you will hear stories like that. So in that sense, the basic premise (of Dhadak and Sairat) is same. But there are variations.”
“My story is based on another set up… It is (set) in Rajasthan. It comes with its own challenges, conflicts and style of a love story,” he further added.
Release date – December 28, 2018
Story – Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty are collaborating for the first time for a movie, which also stars Sara Ali Khan in the lead. Although Sara signed and shot Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath first, the film has been pushed to next year, which means Simmba will be her big Bollywood debut. It is being produced by Rohit and Karan Johar together. The film may be loosely based on Jr NTR-starrer Temper. As Rohit revealed, “We have bought the rights of Temper but our film is not exactly a remake. We wanted to take four-five scenes from Temper but we thought it’s better to buy the rights. It’s what we did with Singham.” The Singham franchise is the remake of Suriya-starrer Singam and has Ajay Devgn in the lead role.

The trailer of Salman Khan’s Race 3 was dropped few days back and a major set of people lost their collective mind. Especially because of Daisy Shah. Yep, can you imagine, it was Daisy, who stole the show in a trailer of a Salman film with her dialogue that is taking the internet by storm. If you think about it, the dialogue, which goes like, “Our business is our business. None of your business,” goes with almost every life situation, especially to stave off your nosy friends or relatives. These golden words have inspired a lot of meme makers as many jokes have made their way to social media in the past few days. Hell, even Mumbai Police joined the “Our business is our business. None of your business” meme brigade just few days back.
The Twitter account of Mumbai Police is quite LIT, we all have seen that. They tap into everything that is topical and drive the message that they want to, home. This time they took some help from Daisy and warned their followers of the data theft. “Mind your own data to make sure that no one else takes advantage of it to beat you in the #RaceOfSafety,” read the caption on Mumbai Police’s recent Twitter post.
Race 3 also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala. It hits the theatres on June 15. It is directed by Remo D’souza, who has replaced Abbas Mustan, who helmed the first two films.
The much-awaited third installment of the Race franchise is all set to hit theatres on June 15. Salman Khan has replaced Saif Ali Khan as the lead, and so has Remo D’souza, who has directed the third part instead of Abbas-Mustan, who had helmed the first two films. The trailer of Race 3 was dropped a few days ago and needless to say, it made quite an impact on the audience with fans vouching for yet another blockbuster this Eid. Just as they were getting over the mind-blowing trailer, the makers released the first song of the film, Heeriye. The track became an instant favourite and fans can’t stop listening to it on a loop. And now the second song, Selfish is all set to come out tomorrow.
Talking about how he penned the lyrics of Selfish, Salman in an interview said, “While discussing the creative for the song, I penned down a few thoughts on paper in sync with the plot of the film, which is about the selfishness within the family. When the music director Vishal Mishra heard it, he got extremely excited and said he will come back with a tune for the same. I said, ‘But this is a part of a conversation and not lyrics’. However, he insisted to use the thoughts as it is for the song. Everyone loved the thoughts and wanted it to be used for the song.”
Race 3 also stars Anil Kapoor, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala. Stay tuned to BollywoodLife for all the latest scoop and updates.
The paparazzi is obsessed with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s little munchkin, Taimur. Every day, we get to see his pictures, no matter wherever he is. And the reason is purely the love that people have for him. I mean, the kiddo is next level adorable. Seeing his pictures brings a smile on your face, we cannot deny that. The fact that the 17-months-old has over 100 fanclubs on social media says it all. So as it goes, we have another set of pictures of Taimur. The cutie was clicked outside his grand mother, Babita’s house. This time he was not in his nanny’s lap or walking, instead he was clicked on a stroller. And well, he looked cute as a button like always. His grandfather and veteran actor, Randhir Kapoor too was clicked while entering the building.
Check out the pictures of Taimur right here:
Kareena had revealed that it was Saif’s idea to not to hide Taimur’s face as she had said in an interview, “When I was pregnant, both Saif Ali Khan and I had spoken about this and how we’d handle it. He was like there’s nothing to hide. He’s our child and this is the way it’s going to be. He’s going to be photographed, so be it. It’s convenient for stars when they want to be clicked… like at events while putting on makeup, wearing an outfit… and so on. So why hide your child? We’re pretty open and clear about it.” ALSO READ: What is Taimur trying to tell the paparazzi through his sign language? View HQ pics
However, while promoting Veere Di Wedding, Kareena said that the paparazzi should now go easy on Taimur. “We just want him to lead as normal a life as possible. That’s the most important thing for him. I’d like the paparazzi to not shoot pictures of him every moment. I don’t want his life to be documented. He is only 17 months old, once or twice is enough, but not the constant badgering,” she told DNA.
Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur ended their marriage last year. They settled matters out of court and decided to keep things amicable as far as possible. Not just that, they even come together to be with their children, Samiera and Kiaan, often. Whether it is going to their school meetings or on their birthday and on a vacay, Sunjay and Karisma make sure that their differences don’t come in the way of their son and daughter. Soon after the divorce, Sunjay married Priya Sachdev, who is the ex-wife of hotelier Vikram Chatwal. And if all goes well, we might see Karisma tying the knot with her long time boyfriend, Sandeep Toshniwal, pretty soon too as Sandeep’s divorce with his wife, who is an orthodontist, also came through many months back. Karisma and Sandeep have been spotted often together. Their recent outing was at the Mumbai airport as they both left the city together yesterday. We wonder where they are headed to though. For a vacay?
We don’t know when will they get married, but whenever they do, her father and veteran actor, Randhir Kapoor will be there to bless them. “If she wants to get married, then she has my blessings. She is young and must be seeing him [Sandeep], I don’t know. I also see their photographs,” he was once quoted by a daily.
For those who don’t know, Sandeep and Karisma were introduced to each other via a mutual friend at a party a few years ago. After a few meetings, they became really good friends. Eventually, love happened and ever since then they have been together. Don’t you wish that they make things official soon? We definitely can’t wait to get a confirmation from the couple.
Fans of the Hera Pheri franchise can start jumping in joy if you are reading this, as the third installment of the film is surely happening. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, producer Firoz Nadiadwala is gearing up to revive the franchise. “The project was locked last month after the three actors gave their dates. It will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule between December 2018 and February 2019 and will release in the second half of next year,” a source close to the development told the tabloid. The third film will be directed by Indra Kumar, who has helmed films like Masti and Dhamaal.
It was 18 years agothat the first Hera Pheri film hit the theatres. Directed by Priyadarshan, it starred Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal as as Raju, Shyam and Baburao Ganpatrao Apte respectively. The film emerged as one of the one of the most successful comedies in Bollywood. Then in 2006, the late actor-writer director Neeraj Vora directed the sequel, Phir Hera Pheri. It worked wonders yet again, making Hera Pheri 3 inevitable. ALSO READ: Akshay Kumar to reunite with Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal for Hera Pheri 3?
The report further suggests that Neeraj had locked the story, screenplay and dialogue by 2014. In fact, the pre-production had begun in Delhi during the summers of 2016, but then Neeraj slipped into a coma in October. Firoz moved Neeraj, who was his friend into his own home and ensured that he got the best medical care. But as fate had it, Neeraj passed away on December 14, 2017.
There were rumours that John Abraham might replace Akshay in the third film, but now it is Akshay, Suniel and Paresh who will star in the third film too.
