Megha Dhade
TV actress Megha Dhade became the first winner of the inaugural season of Bigg Boss Marathi. Pushkar Jog and she were the two finalists out of which host Mahesh Manjrekar declared her as the winner. She has done a few Hindi serials and even worked in Ekta Kapoor serials like Kasauti Zindagi Kay and Kasturi. She is married to Anand Pawaskar. She shed tears of joys as her name was called as the winner. Megha also won Rs 50 lakhs. Mahesh Manjrekar had called her the ‘Jaan’ of the show. For the audiences, she was the drama queen.

Sidharth Shukla
TV hunk Sidharth Shukla was arrested and later released after he rammed his car, a BMW X5 into a divider. It hit three vehicles and three people suffered minor injuries. The actor escaped shaken but unhurt. He got bail after a penalty of Rs 5,000. It seems he lost control of the car. The accident took place in Oshiwara. The police booked the Balika Vadhu actor under sections 279 (Rash driving or riding on a public way), 336 (Act endangering life or personal safety of others), 337 (Causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) and 427 (Mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). It seems his blood samples have been taken to determine if he was drunk while driving. As per reports, he took involved in a road accident in 2014 as well. Sidharth was last seen on Dil Se Dil Tak but he exited the show rather unceremoniously.

Abhimanyu Chaudhary
There is immense speculation around who is the male lead of Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2. Days after a daily reported that Parth Samthaan was the final choice as Anurag, news came in that Shamitabh actor Abhimanyu Chaudhary was the makers’ choice. He is a very good-looking guy with a chiseled body. The fact that Abhimanyu shared the promo on his Instagram page further heightened the speculation if he indeed is the final choice as Anurag.

Saumya Tandon
Fans of Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain got a shock when news surfaced that Saumya aka Anita Bhabhi had quit the show. However, the actress replied that she was on a week’s leave due to liver infection and was back shooting in Naigaon. The speculations did not end there as an entertainment portal reported that she was serving her notice period. It seems she was bored having played the same character for over three years now and wanted to explore other avenues. There was buzz of her doing Bigg Boss 12 but she denied the same. Finally, news came that she wants to exit as she plans to start a family. However, Saumya set all the rumours to rest. She said, “I am aware that rumours about me planning a family are doing the rounds. My reply is that I would love to have a baby. Motherhood is a beautiful experience and I surely don’t want to miss out on that. In fact, if it happens, I will share it with everyone and enjoy it when the right time comes. As of now, I have no news to share. These things are in God’s hands. Who are we to decide?” Also, my producers are so accommodating and sweet that they had once told me that even during pregnancy, I can continue doing the show, and later go on maternity leave. This is a wonderful change in the entertainment industry, and I really applaud that.” This is not all. It seems Saumya is two months pregnant and her bump is slightly visible.

Bandagi Kalra
The lady found herself in a spot of bother when a Bengaluru based student charged her of cheating by sharing the fake ad of iPhone X on her Instagram. According to a Deccan Chronicle report, Yuvraj Singh Yadav who followed Bandgi on Instagram, said the Bigg Boss 11 contestant had posted a fake advertisement of an iPhone X on behalf of two-Delhi based firms, Different Collection and Nexafation.com. The student quickly booked it as it was cheaper than the market price of Rs 83,000. It seems he transferred Rs 13,000 to a PayTM account linked to the number stated in the ad. Later, when he checked her account, he found the ad missing. It seems the seller assured Yadav that the product would be delivered to him. It seems Yadav paid Rs 48,000 and found that it was a dummy iPhone X. Then, he filed a police complaint and Bandagi has been summoned by the Bengaluru police.

Bigg Boss Marathi: ‘Our friendship was and will remain pure,’ says Resham Tipnis about Rajesh Shringarpore

Resham Tipnis’ stint in the Marathi Bigg Boss house came to an end as she was evicted last week. The actress who has even worked in numerous Bollywood movies earlier, made headlines for her alleged romance with her housemate and actor Rajesh Shringarpore. Viewers couldn’t believe when Rajesh, who’s a married man, started getting close to Resham inside the house and they were even termed as a new couple in town. However, Rajesh was soon evicted from the show and he dismissed all the stories claiming them to be baseless. Speaking to TOI, Resham opened about the allegations and said, “Marathi viewers are hypocrites and their outlook towards reality shows needs to change. The point is I didn’t do anything wrong that would make me feel guilty.” She further added, “How can people inside or outside the house pass strictures on my conduct? Both Rajesh and I know what exactly we were doing. Our friendship was and will remain pure. If people get so worked up over holding hands or a few hugs, then that is their problem.”

We also heard reports of her boyfriend, Sandesh Kirtikar being upset with her for the same, but the actress feels he’s the most sorted person in this world. “Sandesh and I are not just partners but we are good friends too. When I met him after exiting the house, he said, ‘You don’t need to explain anything to me. I trust you,’” said Resham. She feels the people who love her are there to support her, and that she shouldn’t fear anyone else in the world. Bigg Boss Marathi: Resham Tipnis gets eliminated from the show

Well, it is end of the road for Resham Tipnis on Bigg Boss Marathi. She was seen as one of the strong contenders in the first week but her luck ran out yesterday. Without much suspense, Mahesh Manjrekar told her to leave the game show as she was evicted. Inside the house, Resham made a lot of news because of her proximity with fellow Marathi actor Rajesh Shringarpure. The two got really close to each other and their proximity raised a lot of eyebrows. Rajesh and Resham got cozy and host Mahesh Manjrekar warned them against such behaviour. He is a married man while she is a divorcee. However, post his ouster Rajesh said that they were just friends and what was shown on cameras should not be misconstrued. Yesterday’s episode was a pretty interesting with famous astrologer Sandeep Avachat visiting the sets. He told everyone about how the next few days would pan out for them highlighting their pluses and minuses. His predictions left Mahesh Manjrekar rather surprised.
