Avengers: Infinity War gets silly when it tries to pack humour at places where you feel like crying your heart out. It gets unimaginably passionate when it brings our mighty heroes and the vicious villain face-to-face. And goes without saying that it crushes your heart by the time it ends. Ajay Devgn in a lot of pain; diagnosed with tennis elbow?

Ajay Devgn screws up his face in pain every time the camera is switched off. The two-time National Award winner is shooting in Mumbai’s Chandivali Studio for Luv Ranjan’s romantic saga directed by Akiv Ali. His co-stars Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh are unaware of his discomfiture because the actor is being a thorough professional and doing his scenes effortlessly. However, the moment the director shouts ‘cut’, Ajay literally collapses into a chair because he is in acute pain. A source on the set says, “Ajay has a tennis elbow or Lateral Epicondylitis as it is called. And he is in so much pain, he can’t even lift his hand to pick up a cup of coffee. The actor has been experiencing pain in his heel, too. However, he has to finish the schedule because the producers (Ankur Garg and Luv Ranjan) have a set standing and they also have a combination of dates of Jimmy Sheirgill, Rakul and Tabu that they cannot afford to waste.”

One hears that while shooting for Total Dhamaal in Filmcity a few days ago, Ajay was wincing in pain. On noticing this, his co-actor Anil Kapoor, who apparently had suffered a similar injury, recommended that Ajay should fly to Germany for treatment. Ace cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, too, had tennis elbow and underwent treatment for it.

What is Tennis Elbow?

Tennis elbow is a condition in which the forearm muscles and tendons are affected. This leads to pain and tenderness on the outside of the elbow. It usually develops over a period of time. Repetitive motions — like gripping a racket during a swing — can strain the muscles and put too much stress on the tendons. That constant tugging can eventually cause microscopic tears in the tissue.

Twinkle Khanna gets threatened with a ‘bloody nose’ for putting up Akshay Kumar’s Rustom uniform for auction

Akshay Kumar on Friday, posted about auctioning his costume from Rustom for the aide of a charity group that works for the welfare of the animals. Twinkle Khanna then thanked him, Hrithik Roshan and others for helping out the NGO. But while all that was going on, the netizens took huge offence to the author’s bid to put it up a uniform worn by Indian army for sale. Someone named Sandeep Ahlawat has threatened her with a bloody nose. (Also read: Twinkle Khanna birthday: Akshay Kumar’s sweet message for his favourite companion for life will melt your hearts)

Sandeep Ahlawat has posted on Facebook, “Uniform is not a piece of cloth that a producer hands over to cinestars for enacting roles and make some quick bucks. The permission to wear Uniform comes from the office of the President of India. Uniform is earned with your blood, toil and sweat which is placed on the mortal remains of a soldiers along with the tricolour. If you even make a feeble attempt to auction this piece of costume in the garb of “UNIFORM” then I will drag you to the court. You may like to check my credentials. You touch our honour and we will give you a bloody nose.” Of course, Twinkle has taken serious offence for such choice of words. She tweeted saying that she will reply to that with legal action. Check out their conversation right here…

We wonder why Twinkle decided to auction Rustom’s uniform. She could have just used Akshay’s costume from Tu cheez badi hai mast mast… it will sell like hot cakes! Just saying…
