Mission Impossible: Fallout trailer – Tom Cruise and Henry Cavill are at loggerheads – watch video

The next instalment of Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible is all set for a release. Subtitled, Fallout, the film garnered a good buzz after the first trailer made its debut at Super Bowl 2018. The second trailer of the film was released today and we are only assured that there are insane action stunts in store for us.

The second trailer of Mission Impossible: Fallout dropped today and we get more scoop about the plot of the film. Tom Cruise returns as Ethan Hunt, and also Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust, Alec Baldwin as Alan Hunley, and Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell. Henry Cavill and Angela Bassett join the cast. Christopher McQuarrie is directing the sixth instalment of the Ethan Hunt spy saga. We get to see most of the same insane stunts from the first trailer including the one stunt that brought the production of the film to a halt. The production of the movie was forced to stop after Cruise sustained a serious on-set injury while performing a stunt. He broke his ankle after falling short and slamming into a wall while leaping across a building gap. There is one new shot of Ethan trying to escape from the cockpit of a crashed chopper!

But all in all, I was impressed enough already with the first trailer of Mission Impossible: Fallout. The stunts looked slicker while Friction by Imagine Dragons played in the background smoothly blending with the theme of MI. In the new trailer, the theme music doesn’t come into action until the final seconds of the footage.

Mission: Impossible – Fallout will open in theatres on July 27. How did you like the trailer? Let us know in comments below.

Henry Cavill opens up about reprising Superman in Man of Steel 2

Actor Henry Cavill has said that it is his “desire” to star in the sequel to Man of Steel as he believes there is more “Superman story” to be told. The 34-year-old actor said he is in talks with studio executives about Man of Steel 2, a direct follow-up to the 2013 film, and would like to explore the lead character further.

“I’m having a lot of conversations, behind-the-scenes, with certain people and we will hopefully be having conversations with other people who are also behind-the-scenes to make things start happening,” Cavill told Collider. “It is very much in my desire to do a Man of Steel 2, a direct sequel to Man of Steel, and there is a whole bunch of Superman story that I want to tell. There is a whole style of Superman’s character that I’m very keen to tell and I’m looking forward to the opportunity,” he added.

As per his contract, Cavill is on board to do one more movie in the DC universe but the actor made his intentions clear to play the character in more than one film. “There’s a lot of story I’d love to tell and if that stuff starts to happen, and with exciting filmmakers, who I have close relationships with, then regardless whether I have one more or not, I’m doing it, because I want to tell more of the Superman story,” he said.

Since starring in Man of Steel, the actor has reprised his role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and later for superhero ensemble Justice League.
