Yay! After the humongous success of Baahubali and its sequel, makers are planning a special web series on this character – guess who

After the humongous success of Baahubali and Baahubali: The conclusion, producers of the film, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni are planning a separate web series on a particular character. Well, don’t bite your nails wondering as to which character are we talking about. The makers are trying to crack a deal with Netflix India to create a web series which will be a spin off on Sivagami. A source informed Midday, “It will be a multi-lingual web series and the first season will have 10 episodes. Gurmeet Singh, who was the associate producer on Inside Edge, will helm the project.” With so many successful ventures on the OTT platform, it was a smart decision on the makers part to have a spin-off of one of the most admired characters from the movie. The source further added, “Since the web series focuses on Sivagami’s early years, it remains unclear if the character will be played by Ramya. But she may have a cameo appearance.” The web series, will start shooting in August and will be filmed in a lavish set at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. It would be too exciting for Sivagami’s fans to witness her layered character and her unheard story of course. Also Read: Not Salman Khan, but Prabhas rescued Bollywood in the first half of 2017

Did you know Prabhas’ Saaho is narrated from Shraddha’s point of view?

Even before its release, Saaho is turning out to be one of the biggest films in Tollywood. This movie will be Prabhas’ first after Baahubali 2 that’s why all eyes are on this actioner. Directed by Sujeeht, the cast and crew is all set to take action to the next level with this film. While Prabhas plays the lead role, starring alongside Baahubali is our Bollywood star Shraddha. Unlike Telugu films where a female lead at times is reduced to playing it glamorous, she will play a crucial role. In fact, in a conversation with Gulf News, Prabhas revealed an important detail. about Shraddha’s character. “Turns out the story will be narrated from her perspective! Whoa! So we are going to be watching Saaho from her point of view. Now that will be interesting. He also revealed that all the characters will have an important role to play. Saaho Teaser: Prabhas’ badass swag is one up from his Baahubali avatar

“All the characters in this film have an important role to play. The story is bigger than any of us and we are connected in different way. Each character doesn’t just come and go, because everyone has memorable parts to play.” says the actor while speaking with Gulf News. Only yesterday, details of one of the most important sequences in the movie were out. As per reports a whopping Rs 90 crore was spent on this sequence. It was choreographed by international stunt man – Keeny Bates of Transformers fame. Believe it or not, 37 cars and five trucks were crashed to make the scene look realistic. The team didn’t want to rely heavily on CG because they wanted to give the audience a real feel of things. The movie also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Mandira Bedia, Mahesh Manjrekar.

After Baaubali 2’s stupendous success, fans can’t wait for Saaho’s release. Because at this point, expectations are sky high with respect to this high octane actioner. In other news, Prabhas will begin shooting for love story soon after Saaho.

Prabhas is back with action for Sahoo’s action sequence
Saaho: Prabhas Shoots REAL Action Sequences Like Never Seen Before!

While talking to the UAE media recently, the Baahubali actor revealed that they have crashed 37 cars and a few trucks for an action sequence. Woaahh!! now this is something magnificent.

Having word with him, he said,“We had a plan and we went to action director Kenny Bates two years back. Kenny came to Abu Dhabi for recce and he loved the location. He wanted to shoot everything live. Almost 90 percent of whatever that we are going to show on screen is real. He wanted to show the real cars. He wanted the real cars to fly.”

He also stated,“We wanted everything real instead of going for CGI as it gives a real impact. Generally, you have 70 percent CG and 30 percent real but over here in Abu Dhabi, we opted for a more real shoot. This will be something that no one has seen before,” said Prabhas while talking to the UAE media in Abu Dhabi.

The film has a stupendous cast of Prabhas, Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Mandira Bedi, Mahesh Manjrekar and Chunky Panday.

What! 37 cars and 5 trucks crashed for real for an action sequence in Prabhas’ Saaho

We have seen countless action movies down south but Prabhas‘ Saaho promises to be one of a kind! The Baahubali star is currently shooting in full swing in UAE for one of the crucial action sequences in the film. As per reports on Hindustan Times, at least Rs 90 crore have been spent on this sequence alone. Luxury cars have been used for this sequence. Above all, international stunt choreographer, Kenny Bates will be supervising the sequence! Clearly, Saaho is turning to be a grand mega budget film! But here’s the unbelievable part. Exclusive! Unlike Baahubali, Prabhas will not flaunt his hot-bod in Saaho

37 cars and five trucks have crashed to give the sequence a realistic feel because CGI would dilute the effect! “We had a plan and we went to action director Kenny Bates two years back. Kenny came to Abu Dhabi for recce and he loved the location. He wanted to shoot everything live. Almost 90% of whatever that we are going to show on screen is real. He wanted to show the real cars. He wanted the real cars to fly. We crashed around 27 cars and five trucks. We wanted everything real instead of going for CGI as it gives a real impact. Generally, you have 70% CG and 30% real but over here in Abu Dhabi, we opted for a more real shoot. This will be something that no one has seen before,” Prabhas was quoted as per reports on Khaleej Times!  Saaho is surely a step ahead of Baahubali as it resorts to a realistic feel.

The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor in the lead. Prabhas and Shraddha are teaming up for the first time. The film will also star Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mahesh Manjrekar, Mandira Bedi, Jackie Shroff. Saaho is one of the most anticipated films since it is Prabhas’ first film after Baahubali. He will be seen in a completely different avatar.

Anushka Shetty’s next project is not with Prabhas but with THIS actor…

Prabhas and Anushka Shetty have done many films together before the Baahubali series but ever since we saw them romance in SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus, we can only hope and pray that they would come together again. Our wish was almost getting fulfilled when we heard Anushka might star in Prabhas’ Saaho. But that didn’t happen. Now the actress apparently has signed yet another film and it doesn’t have Prabhas in it either. According to reports, Anushka will star with Gopichand for the third time after Lakshyam and Souryam. We hear the actress said yes to the project after much mulling over. She doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to sign back-to-back films, despite her last film being a huge hit. Bhagaamathie is one of the highest grossing women-centric films of the year and it seems, Anushka is still basking in the glory of her success. Even in the case of this film with Gopichand, the news has not been confirmed by any of the actors. (Also read: Are Prabhas -Anushka still together? We can tell you!)

A source informed Hindustan Times, “Both Anushka and Gopichand have signed on the dotted line. The rest of the cast and crew will be finalised soon. It’s going to be an out-and-out commercial film. The team is finalising the shoot schedule as per the availability of both the lead actors.” The film is apparently an action-drama.

Bhaagamathie has proved that Anushka Shetty is enough to earn rich dividends at the box office. It has crossed the 1 million dollars mark at the US box office and it is all due to the actress. Last time she gave a massive solo hit, it was with Rudhramadevi. Clearly, the actress is now one of the most bankable actresses at the box office. We are definitely happy for her but how about a film with Prabhas again?

Salman Khan’s stunt scene in Race 3 is so similar to Prabhas’ scene in Saaho, that it cannot be missed

As expected, the trailer of Salman Khan‘s highly-anticipated stylish thriller Race 3 has shattered all the records on the digital platform. Apart from being the top trend on YouTube, the promo of the film garnered over 25 million views combining Facebook and YouTube. The mind-blowing action sequences, high-octane stunts and Salman Khan’s charismatic swag made the promo a complete package of masala entertainer. While the trailer impressed us to the core, there were some sequences which reminded us of many Hollywood and Bollywood flicks. But there is one scene, which will instantly get stuck in your mind and will give you a sense of deja vu.

We are talking about a sequence where Salman and Jacqueline are flying wearing a wingsuit. If you play that scene on loop, it will remind you of the teaser of Prabhas’ Saaho, where two individuals are performing the sequence in a similar way. Well, we hope this is a mere coincidence.
